Growing up, I have always had a great interest in the Arts. My favourite subjects in school included Art, Music, Drama, Senior Vocal Jazz, English, Social Studies, Languages (French and German), Foods and PE. Looking back, I wished I had taken the time to expand my knowledge in my favourite subjects. Luckily, however, I was fortunate enough in my teaching career to teach courses that were my favourites in school. I have taught English, Social Studies, Visual Arts, Drama, Foods and PE. I have an Education and Visual Arts degree. I had earned both my BFA and B.Ed at UBC. I did my GDE at SFU. Currently, I attend a Dance Academy in Bharatanatyam, a classical Indian dance and take lessons in the Art of Archery.
