NEWS: Our Scholastic Book Fair is November 29 & 30. We welcome all parents and students to visit the library during Conference Day and purchase some exciting reading material.
Bookfest is underway! We have approximately 35 students participating from Grades 5-7. We will be having three upcoming events related to our books.
1) We will be seeing the movie Wonder - date to be announced.
2) A Magic Gala fundraiser in November. Admission will be $2.00. Entertainment will be provided by the Bookfest students doing some magic tricks. The money raised goes to support the Children's Hospital.
3) Finally, on November 29th the students will take part in the Author visit and Bookfest competition in Maple Ridge.
Great things are happening in the Whonnock Library this fall!
