Aqueous = has been dissolved in water so they are 'invisible'
Precipitate = doesn't dissolve in water well (insoluble) and so it forms a precipitate.
In this case two aqueous solutions (clear KI and Pb(NO3)2) mixed to form another aqueous solution (KNO3) and an insoluble yellow precipitate (PbI2) .
