The following learning maps are designed to to provide opportunities for formative assessment (feedback that supports your learning and progress) and to asses your progress.
Criterion E - which is worth 6 points out of a total of 34 points - assesses the student’s engagement with their research focus and the research process. The assessment for Criterion E is based on the Reflections on Planning and Progress Form. The RPPF must be completed by the student and the supervisor throughout the Extended Essay process.
Each document combines the subject-specific guide, the subject-specific assessment objectives and the EE assessment rubric. Continually refer to this information to ensure that you are including all the required elements in a manner that is appropriate to your subject.
