Coherent Body of Work

What is a coherent body of work?
Your exhibition should be a coherent body of work. What does that mean? It could be a particular interest area, or a stylistic relationship, or a theme, or a concept, or a particular element or principle of design, or a particular technique, or a particular media, etc. Any idea will work as long as it provides a thread that ties your work together as a coherent body of work.

You should attend every exhibition that the Maple Ridge Art Gallery shows over your two years in IB Art.
Also, check out their past exhibitions (online) for examples of exhibitions. Note that one exhibition focused on the colour red, while another one focused on he concept of "close to home". These are just two examples of coherent bodies of work exhibitions.
