Your teacher will fill in this form as you progress through your Comparative Study and Exhibition Assessments.

Assessments

These are the three IB assessments that determine your final mark.

NOTE: You must complete the SL portion of your Comparative Study and a significant portion of your Exhibition art works by the end of Grade 11 in order to enrol in IB DP Art 12.

Comparative Study
The SL portion of the Comparative Study is to be completed by May of your Grade 11 year. The HL portion is completed during the fall of your Grade 12 year.
Exhibition
A significant portion of the Exhibition works must be completed by the end of Grade 11 for the year-end Grade 11 Exhibition. The IB Exhibition occurs in February/March of your Grade 12 year.
Process Portfolio
Your Visual Arts Journal is to be completed throughout Grade 11 and 12 - it shows your art making process over the two years. Your Process Portfolio will be based on your Visual Arts Journal and other records of your art-making process. It will be developed throughout your Grade 12 year and finalized in April of your Grade 12 year.
